According to Myanmar's Ministry of Commerce, from December 1, import and export licenses must be applied through the Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 system.

It is reported that export license, import license, business agent card, import license of red wine, technology system, application for vehicle import through automobile sales center and other trade licenses must be applied through the Myanmar tradenet2.0 system.

The Ministry of Commerce will allow businesses to apply for Tradenet members from November this year (2020). Starting from December 1, the relevant permits applied for at the maritime and border (Headquarters) must go through the Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 system（ www.myanmartradenet.com ）Apply. From now on, applications through the full online system will not be accepted.

The Ministry of Commerce will change all license applications from the original multiple sections to one section-1. When a business applies for a certificate of license to be approved before December 1, it must apply with additional documents. After December 1, the relevant departments (ogas) that approve the license certificate must approve and send it through the tradenet2.0 system.

It is reported that in order to accelerate the internationalization of trade, Myanmar has started to use the Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 system since November 2020, on which importers and exporters can complete import and export licensing applications, fee payment and other related businesses. Opening this system during the epidemic period can greatly reduce personnel exchanges and contacts. Where there is a network, you can apply and issue licenses online. This system can provide more trade varieties, and the applicant can complete all trade-related business in the system by using the registration number.

In order to facilitate the trade business, the Ministry of Commerce has provided online services since 2014 and upgraded the service system every year. Subsequently, online application, payment and licensing will be accepted from 2016.
